[Begin music: "The Beginning and the End"]

[Scene fade to white. A yellow orb circles and diminishes, leaving a dark blue background. It flickers when it's about to disappear. Ripples eminate from below it showing that the camera is viewing the floor. A silhoutte of Fei is seen upside down from the angle. A silhouette of Elly falls down (up) beside him and takes his hand.]

FEI
"Let's return to our planet."

[The two figures' silhouettes turn away from camera. Ripples eminate over them.]

[Scene cut to the side of the floor.]

[Scene fade/switch in to head shots of Fei and Elly as they look around. Behind them is another image of their two nude figures standing in the center of the watery floor. Camera rotate around the two in the foreground at head level. Elly in particular seems to have a satisfied expression on her face, but they both seem somewhat happy.]

[Scene cut to a swirling insignia. A light flickers from underneath it. Pan down to reveal Fei and Elly looking up at it, now looking concerned. Elly turns to Fei.]

ELLY
"That light!"

[Fei looks towards Elly. Scene cut to in front of Elly's head.]

ELLY
"It's the point of contact with our world. But the dimensional shift has already begun! Will we make it in time?"

[Fei turns to Elly. Scene cut to Fei's head. He smiles and extends his hand.]

FEI
"Can you run?"

[Scene cut to Elly's head. She looks down towards camera at Fei's hand (off screen). She smiles and stares for a second.]

ELLY
"If we're together, I can."

[Scene cut to background. Elly extends her hand and Fei takes it firmly. Scene fade to white. Scene fade/switch.]

[Scene fade in on Fei, running as fast as he can and pulling Elly with him. Camera at a distance. Elly's body is obscured by a blinding light. Scene fade/switch to Fei's head. Both he and Elly are breathing and grunting quite heavily. Scene fade/switch to Elly's face as they continue to run. In the background the shot of both of them running continues.]

[Scene cut to blue as a shifting barrier begins to be seen. It blackens immediately and rotates into a vortex. The insignia comes into view at the back of the vortex. Pan up to reveal that the insignia is on the floor. Fei and Elly are running towards the rotating dimensional shift, which is becoming smaller. Their bodies are reflected in the colored lightning. Scene cut to the insignia. The vortex begins to crackle with black lightning and begins to disintegrate. Scene cut to in front of Fei's head as he continues to run past camera. Elly is still holding onto his hand as she passes, but she is obviously running out of energy, and struggling to keep up.]

ELLY
"Ah!"

[Elly loses her grip on Fei's hand and falls to the floor in a heap. Scene cut to behind Fei as he turns around. Scene cut to above the slumped over Elly. She groans. Pan back to reveal that a dimensional explosion has begun behind her! Scene cut to in front of Elly as she looks up and her face goes white with fear. Scene cut to in front of Fei as he realizes what's going on and runs back towards Elly.]

FEI
"Ellllyyyyyy!!!!!"

[Fei jumps towards camera, hands stretched out in front of him.]

[Scene cut to Elly as she has managed to pick her face up off the ground and look up. Fei flies towards her and wraps his arms around her. Camera rotate around them as Elly puts her arms around him and closes her eyes.]

[Scene cut to above the duo at a distance. Fei covers Elly with his body as the shifting overtakes them.]

[Scene cut to inside the shift as Fei and Elly fall down the vortex. All of a sudden a blue ball of light envelopes them, and disappears with them.]

[Scene cut to a ledge in what looks like space, surrounded by a blue orb at a distance. A third figure is seen standing in front of the others. Camera pan back and away.]

[Scene cut to Fei's head as he opens his eyes and looks up, still holding onto Elly, who has her face buried in his shoulder.]

[Scene cut to where Fei is looking to see a third nude figure staring at the other direction. Pan up to reveal Krelian.]

FEI
"Krelian! You!"

[Scene cut to Krelian's head. He turns his head around towards Fei and Elly.]

KRELIAN
"There's no time! This place is about to be destroyed."

[Scene cut to behind Fei and Elly as Krelian turns around to face them.]

[Scene cut to Krelian's head on the side.]

KRELIAN
"Now, there is no more god. This is no longer their planet."

[Krelian brings a fist up to his chest.]

KRELIAN
"This is your home planet that you are now standing on."

[Scene cut to Fei and Elly. Elly has taken her head away and turned to face Krelian now.]

FEI
"Krelian! You aren't going... are ya?"

[Scene cut to Krelian's head. He smiles and looks down.]

KRELIAN
"No."

[Krelian turns away and looks skyward at a flickering ball of light.]

[Scene cut to a yellow shot of Krelian 500 years ago after Sophia's sacrifice. Krelian keeps talking over these scenes.]

KRELIAN
"Since that time... I have stopped being human."

[Scene cut to a laboratory with dozens of experimental creatures encased in test tubes.]

KRELIAN
"I've comitted so many sins... "

[Scene cut to above Krelian's head. Pan down to his eyes.]

KRELIAN
"... that any attempt at living like a human... was impossible."

[A fetal appearance flies by behind Krelian in another image.]

KRELIAN
"The only one who could have forgiven me... was god."

[Scene cut to a watery floor as a tear drops into it.]

[Scene cut to in front of Fei and Elly. Fei gets up. Scene cut to behind Fei on the side.]

FEI
"That's not true!"

[Fei extends his arms to reitierate his speech.]

FEI
"I know they would understand. There's still plenty of time to atone for your sins. You of all people could do it!"

[Elly starts to get up.]

[Scene cut to Krelian's head on the side. He smiles and looks down.]

KRELIAN
"Always the peacemaker, eh, Lacan? Perhaps that's what it means to be human."

[Scene fade/switch.]

[Scene fade in on Krelian as he looks down at a further distance away, but still closeup.]

KRELIAN
"But, regardless... I cannot go."

[Krelian turns his head halfway towards the others. Scene cut in closer to Krelian's head.]

KRELIAN
"It's something I've already decided. I go to walk with god. Even if there is no place left for me upon my return."

[Scene cut to in front of Elly's head as she stands behind Fei's shoulder. Scene cut in closer to Elly as her face has a rather sorrowful look on it.]

[Scene cut to above and behind Krelian. He turns around, away from the others.]

KRELIAN
"I must go now."

[Scene cut to in front of Fei and Elly. Fei raises his hand halfway.]

FEI
"Krelian!"

[Scene cut to in front of Krelian's eyes. He stares for a moment and then blinks. Scene fade/switch.]

[Scene fade in behind Krelian.]

KRELIAN
"Actually..."

[Some bright wings emerge from Krelian's back and spread out, giving him an appearance not unlike an angel's. A moderately loud noise is heard. ]

KRELIAN
"I envy you two."

[Scene fade to a yellow flash. Scene cut back in normally in front of Fei and Elly. Elly is hanging on to Fei's arm, but both of them have an expression of sadness. A feather flies down quickly in front of them. The background changes to blue as a bell-like sound begins. Scene fade to white and then Fei and Elly fade into white with the scene. Scene fade.]

FMV 35: Big Bang
[Scene opens above the planet. In the far distance, a small glowing orb can be seen. It flickers and a moaning sound is heard for a few seconds. The orb then explodes, releasing energy on a gigantic scale and flying out in all directions, first in a red blast, then a blue circular wave. In the epicenter, something flickers and then fades into a line and disappears.]

FMV 36: Treasures That Can't Be Stolen
[Scene opens in the sky as the clouds are dissipating. Pan down to the ground as the wind howls around it. Scene cut to closer to the ground. Fast footsteps are heard. Pan down to reveal Bart and Rico standing just in sight on both sides of a rocky hill. The footsteps reveal Citan running into view from behind the hill. He stops at the top.]

CITAN
"Fei!!!!!!!!!"

[The helmsman from the Yggdrasil has followed Citan and sets down some sort of case-shaped device in front of him, that he had slung over his shoulder. He opens it up. Billy and Margie appear behind Citan. A radar antenna appears from out of the helsman's case.]

[Scene cut to in front of Citan's face. He is genuinely worried.]

CITAN
"What happened??"

[Camera pan to the right and down to the helsman, who is examining his equipment and holding some sort of earpiece connected to the device to his ear.]

HELMSMAN
"Waves from the explosion disrupted the ionosphere, making it impossible to get a visual."

[Scene cut in closer to the helmsman.]

HELMSMAN
"They were probably caught up in the explosion."

BART
"That's a lie!!!"

[The helmsman winces because Bart's shout has gone straight through his earpiece.]

[Scene cut to the high dark sky as a blue light ball is descending surrounded by all sorts of colored energy fragments.]

[Scene cut to in front of Citan. He looks to his right, towards Bart with a concerned expression.]

[Scene cut to Bart as he walks up closer to the camera, rather agitated.]

BART
"He'll come back."

[Bart holds up a fist.]

BART
"He promised us he would!!"

[Bart spreads his arms out as he keeps speaking.]

BART
"I know it!"

[Scene cut to the descending blue light, closer up. A familiar shape is seen inside of it. It's Xenogears!]

[Scene cut to the side of Emeralda's face as she looks on, her face concerned and worried. Her hair blows in the wind.]

[Scene cut to her eyes as they reflect the dark sky she is looking at. A shooting star flies past.]

[Scene cut to behind the group of Rico, Emeralda, Billy, Citan, Bart and Margie as they look out at the ocean, revealing that what they are standing on is a precipice. Shooting star-like beams fly through the sky above the water as the sky begins to lighten. Pan towards the ocean.]

[Scene cut to the ball of light as it is making lots of noise. Camera in front of Xenogears on the side as it descends past the camera. Several quick switches are done between the full Gear and its head.]

[Scene cut to in front of Chu-Chu behind the others as she starts jumping excitedly and looking at the others. They look down at her, rather confused.]

CHU-CHU
"Chu! Chu chu chu! Chu chu chu chu!!"

[Chu-Chu hops down from the ledge. Scene cut to behind Chu-Chu as she hops towards another part of the ledge.]

CHU-CHU
"Chu! Chu chu chu chu! Chuuu!"

[Scene cut to the side of Citan's head. He looks puzzled.]

CITAN
"Hm..."

[A crackling roar is heard. Citan first looks and then turns his head in the direction of the sound. Then he gasps softly and his face breaks into a smile.]

[Scene cut to the clouds above the night sky.]

[Begin music: "Small of Two Pieces"]

[Xenogears, enveloped in its ball of light, descends from the clouds and comes into view!]

[Scene cut to in front of Emeralda, who is still shrouded in darkness. The first rays of sunlight hit her face at the same time that she looks up to see what's coming. She breaks into a smile too and a sigh is heard, and her smile becomes even stronger.]

[Scene cut to Xenogears as it continues its descent. Exhaust shoots out of its front thrusters.]

[Scene cut to in front of Rico, who is the only one who doesn't seem to have burst into a full smile but he doesn't look too displeased, either. Camera pan left past Emeralda, Billy, Citan, Margie to Bart. He raises his fist and yells triumphantly as loud as he can. He runs away towards them. Citan starts running, followed by Margie and everyone else.]

[Scene cut to the cockpit of Xenogears. Fei is in the driver's seat, with one hand on the controls and his other around Elly, who sits in his lap with her hand on his opposite shoulder. They seem to have found their clothes, too! They look out the window, smiling... not huge smiles, but ones of satisfaction. The two turn to each other and their smiles become stronger. Elly turns back to look out the window in front of them.]

[Scene cut to above a running horde of Bart, Citan, Rico, Margie, Billy, Emeralda and Maria running towards the landing site.]

[Scene cut to a close up of a beaming Elly in the cockpit. The dually occupied cockpit flies past camera and Fei, who is looking at both the woman in his arms and his friends outside, is equally beaming.]

[Scene cut to the sky as a light beam from Xenogears shoots some feathers into the atmosphere.]

[Scene cut to the edge of the precipice as everyone stands there. Pan up and back as Xenogears slowly lands in front of them. Scene fade to white. Scene fade.]

[Begin credits sequence.]
